The National Insulation Association (NIA) recognized Pittsburgh Corning among the recipients of the prestigious Theodore H. Brodie Distinguished Safety Award during its 62nd Annual Convension in Phoenix, Arizona, USA.
Acknowledging that safety concerns differ among the sectors of the mechanical insulation industry, the awards program includes four award categories:
Manufacturers, Contractors, Distributors/Fabricators and Metal Building Laminator.
The award program honors four levels of excellence: Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum. Pittsburgh Corning received Platinum honors in the Manufacturers category. In 2016, PC also received Platinum honors.
The award is NIA’s highest industry honor and the only national award for outstanding safety performance in the mechanical insulation industry. NIA created the award program in 2004 to recognize top companies that have established structured safety programs to ensure the well-being of their employees and create safe working environments.
